At Drummond Place, in the heart of Edinburgh's New Town, we carried out a transformation that brought sparkling life to a handsome Georgian home.
Like a number of our projects it began small before becoming a major refurbishment.
First, we were asked to incorporate a basement into a townhouse. Then, we were invited to renovate the entire upper section of the property. This included creating a new kitchen and utility room, new en-suite bathrooms, and new floors to the principal drawing room and library.
And the work continued.
We went on to build dining, bedroom and lounge furniture, as well as a stunning music cabinet, which sits in the family drawing room.
What makes us perfect for a project like this is our experience of working with historic Grade A listed buildings.
We have the ability to develop ideas that are sympathetic to the original fabric and take into account that our clients live modern lives.
Playing a pivotal role in the renovation of this outstanding home was pure pleasure, not least because our client was pro-active, knowledgeable and eager to be involved.
Since then, we have established a long-term relationship that has seen even more wonderful pieces created.
